Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visit Tulip Garden and interact with tourists

Srinagar, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah visited the famous Tulip Garden here this morning which is in full bloom. A large number of tourists from country and abroad besides school children were also present in the garden.
The Chief Minister also had an interaction with the tourists and sought their views regarding Tulip Garden and Kashmir. The tourists informed the Chief Minister that they feel fascinated with the beauty of Tulip Garden and now they are also visiting other hill resorts like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam besides Mughal Gardens.
Later, interacting with some electronic media persons, present on the occasion, the Chief Minister gave details with regard to measures underway for promotion of tourism and development of infrastructure and allied facilities for the tourists at various destinations.
